Jessica: My mother and grandmother inspire me to be successful. My Grandmother has 3 degrees under her belt and a passport full of stamps. I aspire to be just like her one day. Her inspiring words get me through my hardest days and she is one of the greatest people know. My Mother worked hard to give me everything I have and experience today. She always referred to me as her Precious Gift and made sure I took advantage of every opportunity that came my way. Even though she is not with me physically anymore, I am still inspired by her life of success and compassion. Everything I do from now on is to make sure I continue the legacy for my Mother.

BCE: What are your personal goals for the future?

Jessica: My goal right now is to graduate with my BA in Public Nonprofit Administration.

Let’s talk Professional…

BCE: What attracted you to our company?

Jessica: I found Blue Chip Endeavors through Zip Recruiter. After reading the reviews of some employees online, I figured I’d give it a shot and I ended up loving it from my first day.

BCE: What did you do prior to working with us?

Jessica: Prior to working here, I attended school and worked part time at Taco Bell.

BCE: What are you studying in school and how has this internship helped?

Jessica: I am studying Public Nonprofit Administration. This internship has helped me to understand some of the HR duties, as I hope to run my own business one day.

BCE: Favorite thing about working here?

Jessica: My favorite thing about working here is the positive atmosphere. Everyone comes into the office everyday excited and ready to start the day. There was never a bad vibe.

BCE: What skills have you gained while working here?

Jessica: I believe I have gained computer and communication skills throughout this internship.

BCE: What would you say is the most notable thing you have learned while working here?

Jessica: I think the most notable thing I’ve learned is time management and sense of urgency. I will definitely be using those skills in my upcoming semester.

BCE: What are your professional goals for the future?

Jessica: My professional goals for the future are to gain more experience in my preferred field and eventually open my own nonprofit for High School teens.

BCE: What advice would you give someone embarking on this career path – intern or full time?

Jessica: Keep a positive attitude. Everyday won’t be your best, but don’t let that steer you from your ultimate goals.
